Where Is Wisdom Found? | Job 28:12-13
Devotional
“‘But where shall wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding? Man does not know its worth, and it is not found in the land of the living.”
As we wrap up the final week of this program, it’s worth recognizing the limitations of our own understanding. As much as I appreciate everyone that visits our blog, in my posts, I am by no means claiming to have all the answers.
Just as Job reminds us, human knowledge can only take us so far. We can learn a great deal from experience, teachers, and experts, but true wisdom comes from the Lord.
As we wrap up this program and move into another, we must keep the spiritual connection that we have been building over the last few months so we can build a spiritual and physical habit that lasts a lifetime.
This entire chapter of Job reminds us that true wisdom cannot be discovered through human effort or purchased with earthly riches. There’s nothing we can do besides fear the Lord and turn away from evil to truly have understanding.
So take my advice and all the worldly advice you hear with a grain of salt. There are countless opinions about training, nutrition, and health. Learn from them, but don’t confuse expertise with wisdom. The best program in the world can’t teach you what only God can.
As long as God is your focus, worldly guidance will provide a great starting point and direction.
Thank you for following along! I hope you’ve taken something from the last few months and I encourage you to stay for the future as we pursue greater physical fitness and a closer connection with Christ.
Workout
Congratulations on finishing the program! As we move into the next phase, you’ll notice the workouts change from month to month. That’s intentional. Different styles of training challenge us in different ways, help prevent plateaus, and keep things fresh. No single program is perfect for everyone, so my hope is that each phase gives you an opportunity to grow while continuing to build a lifelong habit of fitness.
